Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 7 pm
at Historic Northampton
Since 2003, the United States has been constantly at war. This has profoundly affected the nation's economy, psyche and national security apparatus. This panel discussion, Democracy and the Military, will feature four panelists who will discuss these issues.
Should there be a draft?  Is there such a thing as a just war?
The use of private military contractors in combat.
The view from the trenches (metaphorically).
Why is there no peace movement today?
