Historic Northampton's membership benefits have now expanded to include exclusive access to our restricted online digital collections catalog and document archive. Members will now be able to search by keyword among thousands of collections entries, including photographs, objects and artifacts. Tour the streets of Victorian Northampton through the vast collection of photographs, including the entire Howes Brothers Collection. Browse through our extensive collections of antique furniture, costumes and textiles, decorative arts and more. Search through our collection of historic maps detailing the changing landscape over time. Find the history of your building or residence in the Historic House Inventory. Discover ancestral roots in the indexed plot map of the Old Burial Grounds. Read history in the making in the pages of Massachusetts' oldest continually published newspaper. Downloadable images of the Hampshire Gazette, beginning with its first available issue in 1786 are now online.
