Past Program Highlights

Come spend a week in the year 1875! Learn about life in a Victorian home, see Northampton through the eyes of a child of the 1870s. This summer Historic Northampton is offering a five-day summer camp for children ages 8 - 12. Each day from 9:00 - 3:00 participants will learn about an aspect of life in this growing factory town. By handling objects in our collection, taking walking tours of the local neighborhood with historic maps, talking to role players speaking from the perspective of 1870s Northampton, and taking part in a range of other exciting activities participants will experience life in an exciting time in Northampton's history.
