CELEBRATE! An Old-Fashioned 4th at Historic Northampton! Brass Bands, Jazz & Ice Cream!

Celebrate! An Old-Fashioned 4th At Historic Northampton 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM Brass Bands, Jazz & Ice Cream! Historic Northampton will celebrate July 4th at its Bridge Street grounds with a free public concert featuring the Paradise City Brass Ensemble and the Valley Jazz Ensemble. The Paradise City Brass Ensemble will perform 19th and 20th Century band classics and other light, musical fare. The group will include Robert Eliason, former curator of the musical instrument collection at the Henry Ford Greenfield Village Museum. Bob is a noted historian in the field of historic instruments. Joining Eliason will be Edward Hubble, Timothy Atherton, Robert Faulkner Scott Philbrick, Eric Anderson and David Pinardi. The Valley Jazz Ensemble will also be featured with Carol Smith on vocal, Genevieve Rose on bass and Gregory Caputo on drums. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Herrell's Mobile Ice Cream Emporium will sell refreshments.
