Weathervane Newsletter Spring 2000


Museum Shop and Visitors' Center to Open


Historic Northampton will open its new museum shop and visitors' center in mid-June. The newly renovated shop will feature gift items, books, prints, CDs, and more. Eventually, the shop will be a starting point for downtown walking tours. The shop will be jointly operated by Historic Northampton and the Guild Art Centre. In the adjoining barn, working artisans, including a blacksmith, will demonstrate traditional crafts. The barn will also feature displays of antique farm implements and tools.
