Lieutenant Jonathan Hunt This stone is an example of the winged death's head motif. There is the ominous skull, two round empty eyes, and a triangular skull like nose. The mouth is a simple line, but below the line on the jaw are the teeth of a skull. This is unconventional because of the two mouths that the skull has. The wings are detailed and come out of the skull like cherub wings. Above the skull are decorative lines, and on the sides of the stone are foliate motifs.
