Joel Lyman, d. 1778 and Mary Lyman, d. 1778

Joel and Mary Lyman Joel Son of Mr. Joel & Mrs. Mary Lyman died November 5th 1778 aged 13 Years one Month. And their Daughter Mary Died Sept. 11. 1778 Aged 10 Months. This is another example of attached stones. These stones began to be seen in the 1760's and were primarily used for children, such as in this case. The children have matching smiling cherubs, 2 decorations and two arches, but one slab sharing writing going across, as is generally the case in connected stones.
