An interview with Nancy Rexford

In 2001, costume historian Nancy Rexford curated an exhibit at Historic Northampton, Her Best Foot Forward: Women's Shoes in America, 1765-1930. Her book on the subject, Women's Shoes in America, 1795-1930, (Kent State University Press, 2000) was awarded the Davenport Award from the Costume Society of America for the best book on costume history for the year 2000. Springfield's PBS station, WGBY-Channel 57, recorded an interview with guest curator Nancy Rexford for the series WGBY Snapshots (5 min. 36 sec.).
